Cecypo Tech is an IT solutions firm based in Nairobi and Kisumu. We implement ERPNext, Raminian POS, security, and networking solutions that actually work for Kenyan businesses — not theoretical frameworks from a sales deck.
Cecypo Tech started with the simple need to manage stock for our own hardware business. We grew further, out of a frustration we encountered repeatedly: businesses investing in technology that didn't deliver — either because the implementation was rushed, the solution was wrong-sized, or the vendor disappeared after the sale.
We started by helping local businesses implement ERPNext — an open-source ERP that rivals expensive proprietary systems at a fraction of the cost. We also developed Raminian POS, our own Windows-based business management software built for Kenyan SMEs. Over time we added networking and security services because the problems we found in clients' environments consistently traced back to those two areas.
We're part of the Cecypo Group, which also operates cecypo.com — a roofing materials stockist. That means we have hands-on experience running the same types of systems we implement for clients.
Part of the Cecypo Group, with over 20 years of roots in Kenya. The technology division grew to serve the needs we saw in our own operations first.
Based in Nairobi and Kisumu, Kenya. We work on-site with clients in both cities and remotely across Kenya.
ERPNext / Frappe, Ubuntu Server, MariaDB, Redis, Nginx, Raminian POS. For networking: MikroTik, Ubiquiti. For security: Bitdefender GravityZone.
These aren't aspirational statements — they're constraints we hold ourselves to on every project.
We don't recommend solutions before understanding your business. Every project starts with a discovery phase — no exceptions.
We don't upsell complexity. If a simpler, cheaper solution solves your problem, we'll recommend it — even if it's less profitable for us.
Every implementation comes with thorough documentation. You should be able to understand what we built — and so should the next person who works on it.
Our goal is to make you self-sufficient, not dependent on us. We train your team and leave you with the skills to manage what we build.
Our team has hands-on experience across the full stack — from Linux system administration to Frappe custom development to enterprise wireless deployment.
We stay current. ERPNext v16 introduced significant changes to the accounting engine and UI; we've been running it in production since shortly after release. We track security advisories, vendor updates and community developments actively.
We're happy to have an initial conversation with no commitment. Tell us what you're working on.
